Bahcesehir Koleji hosted Galatasaray for the tenth gameweek of the 2020 – 21 ING Basketball Super League. From start to finish, Galatasaray had the upper hand and won the game with 95 – 78. This result means Bahcesehir Koleji lost it’s fifth game in this season’s league.
Bahcesehir Koleji started the game with Ismet Akpınar, Erick Green, Jamal Jones, Burak Can Yildizli and Josh Owens five. The Red Dragons had a slow start to the game and had to follow its opponents through the quarter (15 – 23).
In the second quarter, Bahcesehir Koleji strenghtened its’ defense and equalled the score in mid-quarter. But Galatasaray regained the control of the game and finished the first half with 46 – 37 lead.
Coming off from the lockers, Galatasaray regained the total control of the game and led the Red Dragons 70 – 56 by the end of the third quarter.
In the last quarter, Bahcesehir Koleji tried to cut down the lead behind Shannon Evans’s efforts but couldn’t make it and lost the game with 95 – 78.
Bahcesehir Koleji’s top scorers were; Shannon Evans with 17 points (8 assists, 3 rebounds), Erick Green with 14 points (4 assists, 1 rebound) and Thomas Akyazili with 13 points (1 rebound, 1 assist).
Bahcesehir Koleji will meet Pinar Karsiyaka on Friday.
